The Customer Service Representative will work within the Home Delivery team in assisting our food-insecure neighbors find hunger relief services throughout Arizona, including screening them for Home Delivery eligibility.
Interested applicants must be able to work the following shift:
Monday-Friday— 9:30am-6pm
Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish)
Essential Functions
Key responsibilities include:
- Expand access for food insecure families to hunger relief programs.
- Register families in need for the home delivery program on either a one-time or regular delivery schedule based on program requirements.
- Conduct outreach to remind home delivery clients to their upcoming deliveries.
- Report the impact of food distributions through data entry using a platform called Link2Feed, data management, data analytics, and internal meetings.
- Maintain first-hand knowledge of all USDA programs such as the Commodity Senior Food Program (CSFP) and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
- Assign daily deliveries to third-party delivery companies based on companies’ requirements, availability, and caseload.
- Facilitate pick up and returns by third-party delivery companies.
Scope and Complexity
Answers questions and phone calls for neighbors calling to learn more about the Home Delivery Program & accessing hunger relief programs. May interact with all levels of leadership, employees, agency representatives, community neighbors, volunteers, external vendors, and neighbors.
Physical Demands/Environment Factors

- Moderate to Advanced experience using Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Requires significant use of personal computer, phone and general office equipment.
- Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects.
- Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person, electronically or on telephone.
- May be required to lift to 50 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in the customer service field.
- Strong organization skills, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently to establish and manage work priorities, activities and timelines to achieve results
- Exhibit strong attention to detail
- PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in a meaningful way. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
